OUR PRODUCTS

Plywood

Plywood is an engineered wood product made by layering thin sheets of wood veneer and bonding them together with adhesive. These layers, known as veneers or plies, are arranged so that the wood grain of each layer runs perpendicular to the one before it—a method called cross-graining. This technique enhances the strength, stability, and durability of the plywood.

Plywood is popular across many applications due to its:

  • Flexibility and ease of use

  • Cost-effectiveness

  • Resistance to cracking, shrinking, warping, and splitting

  • Reusability and consistent strength in all directions

Most plywood sheets are made with an odd number of layers to maintain balance and reduce warping. Because the grains are bonded in alternating directions, the panel resists bending along the grain, making it structurally stable and strong.
